I love this Easy Ground Turkey Carbonara recipe because with a little effort and in less than 30 minutes, plain ground turkey can taste like you really know what you are doing in the kitchen. 

To keep this Turkey Carbonara recipe fit, I used “zoodles”, zucchini that has been spiralizer, instead of noodles, so it takes the “carb” out of “carbonara.” I also swap out real bacon for turkey bacon. 

This Ground Turkey Carbonara, a one-pot dinner, is low carb, packs a lot of flavors, and has all your veggies built right in, making it a perfect fit food!

Ingredients
 
 

  • Turkey Mince2 pounds ground turkey (minced turkey) - breast
  • Top View Of Fresh Zucchini2 large zucchini - spiralized
  • Champignon Mushroom1 small box mushrooms - sliced
  • White Onion1 large white onion - chopped
  •  
    5 strips sliced turkey bacon - chopped
  • Pasta Sauce Or Marinara Sauce1 jar pasta sauce

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet or kettle, cook ground turkey breast until cooked through (approx 12-15 minutes).
  • Remove cooked turkey breast from the pan and set aside.
  • Add bacon, onion, and mushrooms to the skillet. Cook until bacon begins to brown (approximately 10 minutes).
  • Add cooked turkey back into the skillet.
  • Add raw spiralized zucchini to the skillet, and toss for 5 minutes.
  • Serve with your favorite pasta sauce.
