  • Chicken Mince1 pound ground chicken
  • Ripe Yellow Onion On A White Background1 medium onion - finely chopped
  • Garlic2 cloves garlic - minced
  • Carrot Vegetable With Leaves1 medium carrot - grated
  • Celery Isolated On White Background. Top View1 stalk celery - finely chopped
  • Tomatoes1 can tomatoes - crushed (14 ounce)
  • Spoon With Tomato Paste Isolated On White Background2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • Oregano Dried In Wooden Bowl Over White1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Dried Basil Leaves In Wooden Bowl Over White1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Wooden Bowl Of Salt½ teaspoon salt - adjust according to your taste preferences
  • Ground Black Pepper Pile, Paths, Top½ teaspoon ground black pepper - adjust according to your taste preferences
  • Glass Bowl Of Olive Oil Isolated On White Background2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Green Basil¼ cup basil - fresh, for garnish (optional)
  • Parmesan Cheese½ cup Parmesan cheese - grated, for serving (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Get a large skillet and heat some olive oil over medium heat. Toss in the chopped onion, garlic, grated carrot, and celery. Cook until they're all nice and soft, about 5 minutes.
