Ingredients
 
 

TO MAKE THE MEATBALLS:

  • Raw Meat Mince500 grams ground beef (minced beef)
  • Onion Powder1 medium onion powder - finely chopped
  • Garlic1 clove garlic - finely chopped
  • Red Chilly Peppe1 medium red chili (red chilli in British English) - finely chopped
  • Italian Seasoning1 tablespoon Italian herbs (oregano, rosemary, thyme, and sometimes basil and parsley)
  • Chicken Egg1 medium egg
  • Bread.1 slice bread - toasted, crumbled
  • Decanter With Red Wine Vinegar1 dash red wine vinegar
  • Worcestershire Sauce1 splash Worcestershire sauce
  • Ground Black Pepper Pile, Paths, Top1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Wooden Bowl Of Salt1 teaspoon salt
  • Pile Of Red Paprika Powder1 teaspoon paprika
  • Red Hot Chili Pepper Powder And Half Isolated On White Background1 teaspoon chili powder (chilli powder in British English) - to adjust the spiciness to your taste

TO MAKE THE SAUCE:

  • Ripe Yellow Onion On A White Background1 medium onion - sliced
  • Garlic1 clove garlic - chopped
  • Red Chilly Peppe1 medium red chilli - de-seeded and fine-chopped
  • Tomatoes1 tin tomato - chopped
  • Crushed Tomatoes1 slug passata or crushed tomatoes (tomato puree with seeds removed)
  • Rosemary1 sprig rosemary
  • Green Basil1 handful basil - fresh leaves, chopped
  • Ground Black Pepper Pile, Paths, Top1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Wooden Bowl Of Salt1 teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

TO MAKE THE MEATBALLS:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients.
  • Using your hands, squash and squidge the ingredients together very thoroughly.
  • Make little meatballs – smaller than a golf ball, bigger than a marble. Put these on a plate and refrigerate if you have time.
  • Heat a little vegetable oil in a pan. When the oil is hot, add the meatballs and cook thoroughly.
  • Once done, put aside on a plate.

TO MAKE THE SAUCE:

  • In the pan where you browned the meatballs, add and saute your chopped onions and garlic.
  • Next, add your chopped tomatoes, chopped chilli, a sprig of rosemary, and tomato passata. Allow this all to simmer for a while.
  • Once the sauce simmered, add the meatballs. Simmer for a few minutes, stirring carefully. Add the chopped basil.
  • Serve on top of beautifully al dente spaghetti and garnish with cheese and fresh basil. Enjoy!
